Artist
Since her musical debut as a young girl in Los Angeles, California, Hope Carr has been a firebrand of gospel fervor. Her vocal prowess was first evidenced at the age of five, when her dazzling talent was demonstrated in her local church and throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
She received musical training at the University of Southern California’s Performing Arts Annex, Colburn School of Performing Arts, and the Los Angeles County School for the Arts. She also received private training from the Fifth Dimension’s Pat Bass, and Meg Zeleny.
Because she grew up overcoming many obstacles, Hope knows the meaning of comforting words. Her mother’s encouraging words were a constant source of inspiration, and although interrupted her college education to pursue her singing career, she later returned to school to continue her studies.
